BOOKING CONDITIONS AND INFORMATION
Payment
Payment must be received before a booking can be secured. It is possible to pay in advance
with credit/debit card or by cheque, made payable to High Society Secrets.
Payment does not include accommodation unless otherwsie stated.
Accomodation
Paticipants requiring accommodation at Country House Finishing Schools will be sent details once course booking is complete.
Cancellation and transfers
Cancellations received up to 28 days before the class is expected to begin will incur the full fee. If a cancellation is received prior to 28 days before the event, 50% of the fee will be charged. If an appropriate substitute participant can be found a transfer of the place can be made at no additional cost. Any transfer of this kind must be done 5 working days prior to the event. If you pay with a discounted membership rate your membership must be valid at the time of booking and on attendance at the course, otherwise the non member rate will be charged. High Society Secrets personal membership is not transferable. If you have transferred your place to another participant, they must be a member to receive any discount, or the amount outstanding will need to be paid in full before the course.
High Society Secrets reserves the right to alter course programmes. High Society Secrets reserves the right to cancel any event, in which case a full refund paid for the course concerned will be made to the participant. All programmes are correct at the time of publication.
Confirmation of booking
A letter of confirmation will be sent within 10 working days of receiving payment. Participants should bring this letter with them on the day of their course.
Intellectual Property Policy
As an organisation and through the work it carries out, High Society Secrets provides access to intellectual property to members and clients. High Society Secrets therefore encourages members and clients to fully adhere to the following principles of copyright: High Society Secrets will always seek to protect its own copyright and other intellectual property rights included in its courses and related materials and publications. High Society Secrets requires on courses promoted and sponsored by itself that tutors will only use materials that are either their own copyright or for which they have obtained the permission of the copyright owners. Some classes may be captured on film or photograph, please make it known to High Society Secrets if you do not wish to be filmed or have your image published.
Course documentation policy
All participants are provided with course notes and handouts to serve as a reference tool for use after the event. They cannot be used for cascade training purposes and/or copied. All the literature is covered by copyright. Reproduction of the handouts is not allowed without express written permission.
Data protection
High Society Secrets keeps any personal information you supply for the purpose for which you have provided it. It is not passed to other organizations unless this is made explicit when you supply it. However, High Society Secrets may from time to time wish to give you information about other courses, services or products it provides.
